As I’ve mentioned a time or two in the past, I am working on a story that I’m hoping to get published. Part of the submission process is writing letters to publishers, getting yourself noticed, and kind of showing off that people actually like to read what I write 😂 so I started a Twitter account using my pen name.
This is where the favor comes in! If you use Twitter, it would mean the world to me if you could follow me. I’d love to be able to show potential publishers that people enjoy what I have to offer {and I’m not quite ready to share my Painfully Thick™ blog! lol!}. I’ll mostly be tweeting writing updates and some behind-the-scenes info about running this blog – like perhaps when a new chapter of Blind Side is coming?! 🙂
Thank y’all so much in advance! 💖💖💖
Imagine fooling around with Chris in a coat closet. He brought you to an awards show, and the way you look in your gown? He couldn’t keep his hands off you.
He pulls you into the nearest closet, his hands all over your body.
Before you could even protest, he’s shushing you, pulling your dress up around your hips to get a good grip on your ass. He leans down, whispering into your ear, “I know we can’t do this here, but you just better be ready when I get you home.”
Instead of writing tonight, I took pictures of the sunset in my front yard 🤷♀️ #imsorry
Imagine having dinner with Sebastian and your friends. For some reason, your best friend’s boyfriend chooses now to tell her he cheated on her, starting all kinds of drama. All you and Sebastian can do is sit back and watch as the situation unfolds, thankful to be in an honest, loving relationship. After a few minutes, he pulls you closer to him, whispering how much he loves you into your ear.
Imagine meeting Tom in a coffee shop. At first, you don’t even notice him – you’re too busy studying to notice him smiling at you from across the room. It isn’t until the barista brings you a refill that you even look up.
“I didn’t order this,” you try to tell her, still not looking up from your keyboard.
“It’s from the drop-dead gorgeous man over there,” she tells you, nodding in Tom’s direction.
That’s when you finally lock eyes with him, as a satisfied smile spread across his sculpted face. He’d been trying to catch your attention ever since he walked in; his heart started beating faster from the moment he saw you, and he just couldn’t go about his day until he knew more about you.
1. I’m sorry I’ve been a shitty blog-runner lately. I got my first rejection, and it hurt a little more than I’m willing to admit 😂😭 I haven’t written… anything lately. And I really want to re-commit and change that ASAP. Which leads me to the second thing…
2. If I had an actual, like.. “author” website where I posted about what I’m working on, eventually publishing my own e-books, would anyone be interested in that? Does anyone like my writing outside of these Painfully Thick gentlemen I write about? 😂😂😂 no but really 👀
